Biography

Nicole Evangeline Lilly is a Canadian actress. She was born on 3 August 1979 in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, and studied international relations at the University of British Columbia.

Lilly first gained prominence for her role as Kate Austen in the television series Lost (2004–2010). She later appeared in films including The Hurt Locker (2008), Real Steel (2011), The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013) and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014) as Tauriel, and portrayed Hope van Dyne / The Wasp in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Ant-Man (2015), Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019) and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023). She is also the author of the children's book series The Squickerwonkers.
