Biography

Carolynne Cunningham is an Australian film producer and assistant director. She began her career in production roles in the late 1970s and worked extensively as a first assistant director on films including the Lord of the Rings trilogy (2001–2003).

She is known for her long collaboration with director Peter Jackson. Cunningham served as producer on King Kong (2005), District 9 (2009), The Lovely Bones (2009), The Adventures of Tintin (2011) and the Hobbit film trilogy (2012–2014). She was born on 25 July 1964 in Sydney.
