Biography

Christopher L. Brown is a production designer and art director working in film and television. He is based in Los Angeles.

He holds a bachelor's degree in drama and history from Tufts University and an MFA in scenic design from the University of Washington. Brown served as art director on the series Mad Men (2007–2013), for which he received four Emmy nominations and four Art Directors Guild awards. He has worked as production designer on series including Insecure (2016–2017), Halt and Catch Fire (2014–2015) and Boss (2012).

His film art direction credits include Twilight (2008), Straight Outta Compton (2015), Nocturnal Animals (2016) and Bombshell (2019).
