Biography
Denis Schnegg is a British production designer and art director. He began his career in the art department, working as a draughtsman on films including The Mother (2003) and 10,000 BC (2008), before progressing to art director and supervising art director roles.
He has served as supervising art director on numerous feature films, including 28 Days Later (2002), Sunshine (2007), Ex Machina (2015), Annihilation (2018), Phantom Thread (2017), King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017) and Napoleon (2023). As production designer, his credits include Greed (2019) and the third season of the series Hanna (2021).
Schnegg is the production designer on the forthcoming film Wild Horse Nine (2026), directed by Martin McDonagh. He has received one win and six nominations for his work.
