Biography

Don Davis is an American composer, conductor and orchestrator. Born in Anaheim, California, he began his career scoring television series and films before transitioning to feature films.

He composed the score for Bound (1996). His best-known work includes the scores for The Matrix (1999), The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and The Matrix Revolutions (2003). He has also worked extensively as an orchestrator on films including the Toy Story series and A Bug's Life (1998).

Davis has received Primetime Emmy Awards and nominations for his television scores, including for seaQuest DSV.
