Biography

Dov Hoenig is a film editor born on 24 April 1932 in Romania. He began his career in the 1960s editing documentaries and films in Israel before moving to work in Hollywood.

Hoenig collaborated frequently with director Michael Mann, editing Thief (1981), Manhunter (1986), The Last of the Mohicans (1992) and Heat (1995). He also edited several films for Andrew Davis, including Under Siege (1992), The Fugitive (1993) and Collateral Damage (2002). He received Academy Award and BAFTA Award nominations for Best Film Editing on The Fugitive and an Eddie Award nomination for The Last of the Mohicans.

Hoenig is a member of the American Cinema Editors.
