Biography
Glenn Close is an American actress. She was born on 19 March 1947 in Greenwich, Connecticut.
Close began her career on stage before moving into film and television. She received eight Academy Award nominations for roles including in The World According to Garp (1982), Fatal Attraction (1987), Dangerous Liaisons (1988), Albert Nobbs (2011) and The Wife (2017). She has won three Primetime Emmy Awards, three Tony Awards and three Golden Globe Awards.
Her other film credits include 101 Dalmatians (1996), Air Force One (1997), Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) and Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery (2025), in which she played Martha Delacroix.
