Biography

Graham Churchyard is a British costume designer. Born on 6 July 1959 in Colchester, Essex, England, he began his career in costume effects and supervision on major productions before transitioning to design roles on large-scale films.

His credits include costume supervisor on Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001) and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007), assistant roles on Alien (1979) and The Empire Strikes Back (1980), and design work on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022). He co-designed the costumes for Deadpool & Wolverine (2024) with Mayes C. Rubeo and served as costume designer on The Conjuring: Last Rites (2025).

Churchyard was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in 2000 for Outstanding Costumes for a Miniseries, Movie or Special for the television film Don Quixote, shared with Charles Knode and Robert Worley. He received nominations in 2025 for a Saturn Award and a Latino Entertainment Journalists Association Film Award for Deadpool & Wolverine, both shared with Mayes C. Rubeo.
