Biography
Jacqueline West is an American costume designer. She began her career as a fashion designer in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she owned a boutique in West Berkeley and sold her own clothing line. She entered film work in the 1990s after being approached by director Philip Kaufman, for whom she served as a creative consultant on Henry & June (1990).
West has designed costumes for numerous films, including Quills (2000), The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008), The Social Network (2010), The Tree of Life (2011), Argo (2012), The Revenant (2015), Dune (2021), Killers of the Flower Moon (2023) and Dune: Part Two (2024). She has received five Academy Award nominations for Best Costume Design.
