Biography
Michelle Yeoh is a Malaysian actress. Born Yeoh Choo Kheng on 6 August 1962 in Ipoh, she began her career in Hong Kong action films in the 1980s, often credited as Michelle Khan and performing her own stunts.
She gained wider recognition with roles in Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000). Later work includes The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008), Crazy Rich Asians (2018), Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021) and Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022).
More recent credits include Joyce Reynolds in A Haunting in Venice (2023), the voice of Airazor in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (2023), and Madame Morrible in Wicked (2024) and Wicked: For Good (2025).
