Biography

Neil Lamont is a British production designer and art director. He was born on 19 December 1961 in Windsor, Berkshire, England. He entered the art department as an assistant on For Your Eyes Only (1981) and worked his way up through supervising art director roles on several James Bond films, including GoldenEye (1995).

Lamont served as supervising art director on all eight Harry Potter films and on Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015). He made his debut as production designer on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016), followed by Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) and Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore (2022).

His later credits include production design on the Apple TV+ series Disclaimer (2024) and the film Supergirl (2026).
