Biography

Paul Lynch (born 11 June 1946) is an English-born Canadian film and television director. He began his career directing television commercials and second-unit work before making his feature debut with The Hard Part Begins (1973).

Lynch directed the slasher film Prom Night (1980) and subsequently focused on episodic television, helming episodes of series including Moonlighting (1985), Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987), Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993), Xena: Warrior Princess (1995) and Sliders (1995). He received three Gemini Award nominations and a Directors Guild of America Award nomination.
