Biography
Ray McKinnon is an American actor, screenwriter, director and producer. Born in Adel, Georgia, he graduated with a degree in theatre from Valdosta State University in 1981.
He has appeared in films including Apollo 13 (1995), O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000), The Blind Side (2009), Mud (2013) and Ford v Ferrari (2019), playing Phil Remington. On television he has appeared in Sons of Anarchy as Lincoln Potter and created the series Rectify.
With his wife, the actress Lisa Blount, and Walton Goggins, McKinnon founded the production company Ginny Mule Pictures. Their short film The Accountant (2001), which he wrote and directed, won the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film.
