Biography
Richard Manning is a television writer and producer. He wrote the teleplay for the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Paradise" (1994), with Hans Beimler and Jeff King. He served as co-producer on the third season of Star Trek: The Next Generation and contributed stories and teleplays to several episodes of the series.
Manning co-created the series Beyond Reality (1991–1993). He worked as a writer and producer on Farscape (1999–2003), writing ten episodes. Other credits include writing for Sliders (1995), When Calls the Heart (2014) and TekWar (1994), and producing on multiple projects. He is a Writers Guild of America member and has taught screenwriting at UCLA Extension.
