Biography
Adrian Rawlins is an English actor born on 27 March 1958 in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. He trained in art and acting at Manchester Metropolitan University and began his professional career in the 1980s.
He is known for his role as Arthur Kidd in the 1989 television film The Woman in Black, as James Potter in the Harry Potter film series (2001–2011), and as Nikolai Fomin in the 2019 miniseries Chernobyl. Other screen credits include Breaking the Waves (1996), Darkest Hour (2017) and Tom Clancy's Without Remorse (2021). He appears as Billy Richards in the 2026 film Rose of Nevada.
On stage, Rawlins has performed at the National Theatre. Since 2014 he has been involved with East Riding Theatre in Yorkshire, serving as artistic director from 2017.
