Biography
Bill Weston (29 May 1941 – 25 March 2012) was an English actor and stuntman. He began his screen career in 1966, stunt doubling for Gordon Jackson in The Fighting Prince of Donegal, and later doubled for actors including David Warner, Peter O'Toole and Michael York.
In 1968 he played an astronaut and served as stunt double for Keir Dullea in 2001: A Space Odyssey. His stunt credits include Star Wars (1977), Superman (1978), Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), Batman (1989), Titanic (1997), Saving Private Ryan (1998) and Batman Begins (2005). He also appeared as an actor in The Living Daylights (1987). Weston retired in 2011 after working on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2.
