Biography
Bina Daigeler is a German costume designer. She began her career in German cinema and television in the mid-1980s, training as a tailor in Munich before working as a wardrobe assistant and assistant costume designer on productions including the series Anna (1987) and Ridley Scott’s 1492: Conquest of Paradise (1992). She moved to Madrid in the early 1990s.
Daigeler has worked extensively in Spanish and international cinema. Her credits include Pedro Almodóvar’s All About My Mother (1999) and Volver (2006), Steven Soderbergh’s Che: Part One (2008) and Che: Part Two (2008), and The Room Next Door (2024). Other films include Only Lovers Left Alive (2013), Snowden (2016), The Zookeeper’s Wife (2017), Mulan (2020) and TÁR (2022), as well as the series Narcos (2015) and 1899 (2022). She received an Academy Award nomination for Mulan and multiple Goya Award nominations.
