Biography
Ed Begley Jr. is an American actor. He was born in Los Angeles, California, on 16 September 1949 and is the son of actor Ed Begley.
He played Dr. Victor Ehrlich in the television series St. Elsewhere (1982–1988), earning six consecutive Primetime Emmy Award nominations. Begley Jr. has appeared in numerous films and television series, including the Christopher Guest mockumentaries Best in Show (2000), in which he played the Hotel Manager, A Mighty Wind (2003), For Your Consideration (2006) and Mascots (2016). Other credits include Pineapple Express (2008), Batman Forever (1995) and recurring roles in Better Call Saul (2015–2022) and Young Sheldon (2017–2024). He is also an environmental activist and co-hosted the series Living with Ed (2007–2010).
