Biography
Helen McCrory (17 August 1968 – 16 April 2021) was an English actress. She trained at the Drama Centre London and made her professional stage debut in 1990. Her theatre work included roles such as Lady Macbeth at Shakespeare's Globe and Rosalind in As You Like It in the West End.
She appeared in films including The Queen (2006) as Cherie Blair, the final three Harry Potter films (2009–2011) as Narcissa Malfoy, Hugo (2011) as Mama Jeanne, and Skyfall (2012) as Clair Dowar MP. On television she played Polly Gray in Peaky Blinders (2013–2019) and Julie Ranmore in Leaving (2012). She was married to actor Damian Lewis.
