Biography
Jabez Olssen (born 5 August 1975) is a New Zealand film and television editor. He began working in the editorial department of New Zealand television programmes in 1998 and was hired as an assistant editor on The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001). He received an additional editor credit on The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002).
Olssen has edited the three Hobbit films (2012–2014), The Lovely Bones (2009) and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016). He edited the documentaries They Shall Not Grow Old (2018) and The Beatles: Get Back (2021), for which he won a Primetime Emmy Award. His later credits include Jurassic World Rebirth (2025).
