Biography
Jonathan Aris is a British actor who has worked in film, television and theatre. He is the son of the late character actor Ben Aris. He studied painting at Camberwell School of Art and Russian and Italian at the University of Cambridge before training at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art.
Aris is known for television roles including Anderson in Sherlock (2010–2016), the quartermaster angel in Good Omens (2019) and Professor Clive Koch in The End of the F*ing World (2017–2019). His film credits include The Martian (2015), Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016) and The World's End (2013). He played Leopold Mozart in the 2025 television adaptation of Amadeus.
He is married to actress Louiza Patikas.
