Biography
Michael Gaston is an American film and television actor. Born on 5 November 1962 in Walnut Creek, California, he trained at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts after initially studying to become a teacher.
His screen debut came as the Justice of the Peace in Ang Lee’s The Wedding Banquet (1993). He has appeared in more than twenty films, including Ransom (1996), Cop Land (1997), Thirteen Days (2000), Bridge of Spies (2015) and Body of Lies (2008). On television he is known for roles such as Quinn in Prison Break (2005), Gray Anderson in Jericho (2006–2008), Gale Bertram in The Mentalist (2008–2015) and appearances in The Sopranos, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..
Gaston has also performed on Broadway, including in productions of A Day in the Death of Joe Egg (2003) and Lucky Guy (2013), as well as in various off-Broadway plays.
