Biography
Mick Audsley is a British film and television editor. Born on 23 June 1949 in Rochester, England, he studied at Sevenoaks School, Hornsey College of Art and the Royal College of Art before working as a sound and picture editor on projects for the BFI Production Board.
He has maintained a long collaboration with director Stephen Frears, editing fifteen of his films including The Grifters (1990), The Snapper (1993) and Dangerous Liaisons (1988). Audsley has also worked frequently with Mike Newell on titles such as Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005) and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2010), as well as with Terry Gilliam and Neil Jordan. He won a BAFTA Television Craft Award for editing The Snapper and received a BAFTA nomination for Dangerous Liaisons.
