Biography
Saunder Jurriaans is an American composer. Born in 1977 in Evanston, Illinois, he is the child of Dutch immigrants. He met Danny Bensi while studying at the Rhode Island School of Design and the pair formed a band before turning to film scoring.
Their first film score was for the 2010 drama Two Gates of Sleep. Subsequent credits include Martha Marcy May Marlene (2011), Enemy (2013), The Gift (2015), The Autopsy of Jane Doe (2016), Ozark (2017), The Devil All the Time (2020) and Speak No Evil (2024). Jurriaans and Bensi have composed for over 100 films and television series. Jurriaans has received two Primetime Emmy nominations.
