Biography

Scott Winant is an American television director and producer. He began his career as a producer and director on the series thirtysomething in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He is a member of the Directors Guild of America and the Producers Guild of America, and has run the production company Twilight Time Films since 1996.

Winant has directed episodes of numerous series, including The West Wing (2001), Breaking Bad (2010–2011), True Blood, Fargo, Better Call Saul, Californication, The Shield, Veronica Mars, Preacher, Yellowjackets and Marvel's Agent Carter. He also directed the feature film 'Til There Was You (1997). He is the son of character actor H.M. Wynant and casting director Ethel Winant, and a graduate of the UCLA and USC schools of cinema.
