Sean Bobbitt is a cinematographer. He was born on 29 November 1958 in Corpus Christi, Texas, USA, and is a member of the British Society of Cinematographers.

Bobbitt has collaborated frequently with directors Steve McQueen and Nia DaCosta. His credits include Hunger (2008), Shame (2011) and 12 Years a Slave (2013) for McQueen, and The Marvels (2023) and 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple (2026) for DaCosta.

He received an Academy Award nomination for Best Cinematography for Judas and the Black Messiah (2021). He was also nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Cinematography for Sense & Sensibility (2008).
