Biography
Art Linson is an American film producer, screenwriter and author. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles law school and began producing films in the mid-1970s.
His credits as producer include Car Wash (1976), Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982), The Untouchables (1987), Heat (1995), Fight Club (1999), The Black Dahlia (2006) and Into the Wild (2007). He directed Where the Buffalo Roam (1980) and The Wild Life (1984), and has served as executive producer on the television series Sons of Anarchy (2008–2014) and Yellowstone (2018–). Linson is the author of two books on the film industry and is married to actress Fiona Lewis.
