Biography
Bill Camp is an American actor. He was born on 22 October 1964 in Massachusetts.
He has appeared in supporting roles in films including Lincoln (2012), 12 Years a Slave (2013), Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014), Public Enemies (2009), Joker (2019), Drive-Away Dolls (2024) as Curlie, and How to Make a Killing (2026) as Warren Redfellow. On television he has played Mr. Shaibel in the Netflix miniseries The Queen's Gambit (2020) and Bruce DeWitt in the series Sirens (2025).
Camp received Primetime Emmy Award nominations for his performances in the miniseries The Night Of (2016) and Presumed Innocent (2024). He was nominated for a Tony Award for his role in the 2016 Broadway revival of The Crucible.
