Biography

Billy Weber (born 5 June 1946) is an American film editor. One of his earliest credits was as associate editor (under the name William Weber) on Terrence Malick's Badlands (1973). He went on to edit Malick's Days of Heaven (1978).

Weber has collaborated repeatedly with Malick, editing The Thin Red Line (1998) and The Tree of Life (2011). His other credits include Top Gun (1986), Days of Thunder (1990) and Beverly Hills Cop (1984). He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Film Editing for Top Gun and for The Thin Red Line.

Weber directed the feature Josh and S.A.M. (1993).
