Biography

David Koepp is an American screenwriter and producer. He wrote the screenplays for Jurassic Park (1993) and The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997), both directed by Steven Spielberg, as well as Mission: Impossible (1996), Spider-Man (2002), War of the Worlds (2005), Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008) and Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023).

His more recent credits include the screenplay for Kimi (2022), on which he also served as producer, Black Bag (2025) and Jurassic World Rebirth (2025). He wrote the screenplay for Disclosure Day (2026). Koepp was born on 9 June 1963 in Pewaukee, Wisconsin.
