Biography
Eve Stewart is a British production designer. Born in London in 1961, she began her career in theatre before moving into film. Her first film credit was as art director on Mike Leigh's Naked (1993).
She received an Academy Award nomination for Best Production Design for Topsy-Turvy (1999). Stewart has collaborated frequently with director Tom Hooper on projects including Elizabeth I (2005), The King's Speech (2010), Les Misérables (2012) and The Danish Girl (2015). Other credits include Victor Frankenstein (2015), A Cure for Wellness (2017), Eternals (2021), Cats (2019), The First Omen (2024), Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (2024) and Kraven the Hunter (2024).
She has won a BAFTA Award for Best Production Design, an ADG Excellence in Production Design Award and a Creative Arts Emmy Award, and has been nominated four times for an Academy Award.
