Biography

Fred Raskin is an American film editor. He graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in 1995 and began his career as an assistant editor, working with Sally Menke on Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill films.

Raskin has edited several films in the Fast & Furious series, including The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006), Fast & Furious (2009) and Fast Five (2011). His collaborations with Tarantino include Django Unchained (2012), The Hateful Eight (2015) and Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood (2019). He has also edited the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy (2014–2023) and is credited as editor on Supergirl (2026). He has received BAFTA and ACE Eddie Award nominations for his work.
