Biography
Michael De Luca is an American film producer and studio executive. He began his career as an intern at New Line Cinema while studying at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, later rising to president of production there in 1993. He subsequently served as head of production at DreamWorks Pictures from 2001 to 2004.
De Luca has produced several Academy Award-nominated films for Best Picture, including The Social Network (2010), Moneyball (2011) and Captain Phillips (2013). He founded Michael De Luca Productions in 2004 and has held executive roles including chairman of the MGM Motion Picture Group and, from 2022, co-chair and CEO of Warner Bros. Pictures Group.
