Biography
Bobby Cannavale is an American actor. He began his career in theatre with no formal training and appeared in early film roles including Night Falls on Manhattan (1997) and The Bone Collector (1999).
He gained recognition for his leading role as Bobby Caffey in the series Third Watch (1999–2001). He had a recurring role as Vince D'Angelo in Will & Grace (2004–2006), winning a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series, and later won a second Emmy for his performance in Boardwalk Empire (2013).
Cannavale has appeared in films such as Ant-Man (2015), I, Tonya (2017), The Irishman (2019) and MaXXXine (2024). He plays Pete Marino in the series Scarpetta (2026). He was previously married to screenwriter Jenny Lumet.
