Biography

Jack Fisk is an American production designer. Born on 19 December 1945 in Illinois, he began working in film in the early 1970s.

He is known for his long collaborations with Terrence Malick on films including Badlands (1973), Days of Heaven (1978), The Thin Red Line (1998), The Tree of Life (2011) and Song to Song (2017). Other credits include Carrie (1976), Mulholland Drive (2001), There Will Be Blood (2007), The Master (2012), The Revenant (2015) and Killers of the Flower Moon (2023). He received Academy Award nominations for Best Production Design for There Will Be Blood, The Revenant and Killers of the Flower Moon.

Fisk also served as production designer on Marty Supreme (2025). He directed several films in the 1980s and early 1990s, including Raggedy Man (1981).
