Biography

Ludwig Göransson is a Swedish composer and record producer. He was born on 1 September 1984 in Linköping, Sweden. He studied at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and, from 2007, at the University of Southern California Scoring for Motion Picture and Television programme, where he met director Ryan Coogler.

Göransson has composed scores for films including Tenet (2020), Oppenheimer (2023), Sinners (2025), The Mandalorian and Grogu (2026) and The Odyssey (2026). He has also scored the television series Community, New Girl and The Mandalorian. He frequently collaborates with Coogler and Christopher Nolan.
