Biography
Nathan Crowley is an English production designer. He is known for his frequent collaborations with director Christopher Nolan on films including Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight (2008), The Prestige (2006), Interstellar (2014), Dunkirk (2017) and Tenet (2020).
Crowley was born on 28 February 1966 in London and grew up in Islington. He attended Leighton Park School, completed a foundation year at the Sir John Cass School of Art and graduated from Brighton Polytechnic with a BA in three-dimensional design. His recent credits include production design on Wonka (2023), Wicked (2024) and Wicked: For Good (2025). He won the Academy Award for Best Production Design for Wicked.
