Biography
Sammy Sheldon Differ, also credited as Sammy Sheldon, Sammy Differ and Samantha Howarth, is a British costume designer. She trained at Rochdale College of Art and the Wimbledon School of Art, and began her career in theatre at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester before moving into music videos and film.
Her early film work includes assisting on Ridley Scott’s Gladiator (2000) and designing for Black Hawk Down (2001). She has since worked across genres, with credits including V for Vendetta (2006), The Imitation Game (2014), Ant-Man (2015), Ex Machina (2015), X-Men: First Class (2011), Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018), Annihilation (2018), Eternals (2021), Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023), A Haunting in Venice (2023) and Kraven the Hunter (2024). She received three BAFTA nominations for costume design.
