Biography
Steve Golin was an American film and television producer. He co-founded Propaganda Films in 1986 with Joni Sighvatsson and later founded Anonymous Content in 1999, serving as its CEO.
Golin graduated from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University in 1976 and attended the AFI Conservatory. His production credits include Wild at Heart (1990), Candyman (1992), Being John Malkovich (1999), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004), Babel (2006), The Revenant (2015) and Spotlight (2015), for which he shared the Academy Award for Best Picture. He also served as executive producer on television series including True Detective (2014) and Mr. Robot (2015).
Golin was born on 6 March 1955 in Geneva, New York, and died on 21 April 2019 in Los Angeles.
