Biography
Vincent Maraval is a French film producer born in July 1968 in Albi. He is a co-founder of the international distribution and sales company Wild Bunch, where he has served as international sales director.
Maraval began his career in the video department at UGC, later working at TF1 and StudioCanal. At the latter, he established the Wild Bunch label to promote independent cinema before leaving in 2002. He has produced or executive produced films including City of God (2002), Blue Is the Warmest Color (2013), Only God Forgives (2013), The Neon Demon (2016), Climax (2018) and Emilia Pérez (2024).
In 2012, Maraval wrote an article in Le Monde arguing that French actors were overpaid, which generated industry debate. He has also appeared in small acting roles, such as in It Must Be Heaven (2019).
