Biography
J.K. Rowling is a British writer and film producer. She wrote the seven novels in the Harry Potter series, the final instalment of which, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (2007), was adapted as two films released in 2010 and 2011.
Rowling received a producer credit on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011). She has also written screenplays for the Fantastic Beasts film series, beginning with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016), and works under the pen name Robert Galbraith.
