Biography

David Heyman is a British film producer and the founder of Heyday Films. Born on 26 July 1961 in London, he was educated at Westminster School and Harvard University. He returned to London in 1997 and established his company, which has a long association with Warner Bros.

Heyman produced all eight films in the Harry Potter series (2001–2011) and the three Fantastic Beasts films (2016–2022). His other credits include I Am Legend (2007), Paddington 2 (2017), Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood (2019), Barbie (2023), Wonka (2023) and Jay Kelly (2025). He has received five BAFTA Awards and nominations for four Academy Awards.
