Biography
Michael G. Wilson is an American-British film producer and screenwriter. He has been a producer on every James Bond film since Moonraker (1979), initially as executive producer and later as co-producer with Barbara Broccoli from GoldenEye (1995) onwards, including Skyfall (2012).
Born in New York City on 21 January 1942, Wilson is the son of actor Lewis Wilson and stepson of Bond producer Albert R. Broccoli. He graduated from Harvey Mudd College in 1963 with a degree in electrical engineering and later studied law at Stanford University. After working in international law, he joined Eon Productions in 1972 in a legal capacity and became assistant to the producer on The Spy Who Loved Me (1977). He also contributed screenplays to several Bond films in the 1980s.
Wilson was appointed OBE in 2008 and CBE in 2022 for services to film.
