Biography
Oscar Isaac is an American actor. He was born Óscar Isaac Hernández Estrada on 9 March 1979 in Guatemala City and moved with his family to the United States as an infant. He graduated from the Juilliard School with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2005.
Isaac appeared in supporting roles in films including Robin Hood (2010), Drive (2011) and Ex Machina (2015). He played Poe Dameron in Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017) and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019), and Duke Leto Atreides in Dune (2021). He voiced Miguel O'Hara in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023) and played Victor Frankenstein in the 2025 film Frankenstein.
