Biography
Anjelica Huston is an American actress. Born on 8 July 1951 in Santa Monica, California, she is the daughter of director John Huston and granddaughter of actor Walter Huston. She made her screen debut in her father's A Walk with Love and Death (1969) and worked as a model in the 1970s before pursuing acting in the early 1980s.
Huston received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for Prizzi's Honour (1985), directed by her father. She is known for playing Morticia Addams in The Addams Family (1991) and Addams Family Values (1993), and for roles in Wes Anderson films including The Royal Tenenbaums (2001), The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004) and The Darjeeling Limited (2007). She played The Director in John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum (2019) and reprised the role in Ballerina (2025).
