Biography
Jess Gonchor is an American production designer and art director. He was born on 15 July 1962 in New York City.
Gonchor has worked extensively with the Coen brothers, beginning with No Country for Old Men (2007). His credits include production design on The Devil Wears Prada (2006), True Grit (2010), Hail, Caesar! (2016), The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018), Little Women (2019), A Quiet Place Part II (2021), IF (2024) and The Devil Wears Prada 2 (2026). He received Academy Award nominations for best art direction for True Grit and Hail, Caesar!.
