Biography
Harvey Keitel is an American actor. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he began his career in off-Broadway productions and made his film debut in Martin Scorsese's Who's That Knocking at My Door (1967). He has maintained a long association with Scorsese, appearing in Mean Streets (1973), Taxi Driver (1976) and The Irishman (2019).
Keitel played Mr. White in Quentin Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs (1992), which he also co-produced, and The Wolf in Pulp Fiction (1994). He received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Bugsy (1991) and won the AACTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for The Piano (1993). Other credits include Wes Anderson films such as Moonrise Kingdom (2012) and The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014), and the National Treasure series as Agent Sadusky.
