Biography
Mickie McGowan was an American voice actress and casting director. Born Maryanne Tonia McGowan on 2 January 1938 in Culver City, California, she was the daughter of Robert A. McGowan, a writer and director of the Our Gang comedies. She also worked under the name Mickie T. McGowan and resided in Palm Springs, California.
McGowan provided additional voices and specific characters in numerous animated films, primarily for Disney and Pixar. Her credits include Police Officer Edith in Up (2009), Sid's Mom in Toy Story (1995), and additional voices in Finding Nemo (2003), WALL·E (2008), Monsters, Inc. (2001) and Toy Story 3 (2010). She also worked as an ADR casting director and voice casting supervisor on many productions. McGowan died on 11 March 2022.
