Biography

Bob Badami is an American music editor, music supervisor and occasional film editor. Born on 2 October 1951 in San Diego, California, he began working in music post-production in the late 1970s.

He served as film editor on Batman Returns (1992) and as music editor on numerous films including Top Gun (1986), Batman (1989), Edward Scissorhands (1990), The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) and several entries in the Pirates of the Caribbean series. Later credits include music supervision and score wrangling on films such as The Da Vinci Code (2006), Hancock (2008) and Mad Max: Fury Road (2015). In 1989 he received a Technical Achievement Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for a music-editing system.
