Biography
Jacqueline Durran is a British costume designer. She grew up in London and studied at the Royal College of Art. She began her career selling vintage clothes before working at Angels Costumes and moving into film design.
Durran has collaborated frequently with directors Mike Leigh, Joe Wright and Greta Gerwig. Her credits include Pride & Prejudice (2005), Atonement (2007), Anna Karenina (2012), Little Women (2019), 1917 (2019), The Batman (2022), Barbie (2023), Allelujah (2023), Hard Truths (2024) and Blitz (2024). She is credited as costume designer on the forthcoming Jay Kelly (2025).
She has won two Academy Awards for Best Costume Design, for Anna Karenina and Little Women, and three BAFTA Film Awards for Best Costume Design.
